outta sight, outta mind

I got a new phone a week and a half ago. It has a lot of cool features including the Internet. Thus, I am not sitting down at the computer any more and haven't thought about writing a blog in a very long time.

There are many changes and happenings going on in our neck of the woods and that has a lot to do with my lack of blogging as well.

At the moment, I am holding my teething, YES TEETHING!, baby in my lap. He seems to be taking this all in stride. I am convinced he has a very high tolerance to pain considering I have dropped my phone and a book on his head and it didn't phase him one bit. He wants everything in his mouth and he is drooling all over the place. But, that just makes for some really wet, slobbery kisses.

Currently, I am working to get a new website and blog going for my business. Lately I have been feeling a bit out of sorts. My mind is going in a million different directions from the moment I wake up until I pass out at night. I have a lot of ideas and limited time to get them going. I guess that is what happens when life drops a baby off. LB is getting all my attention these days. We have been taking strolls, going on play dates, and just enjoying the company of each other during the day. We like to sing, read books, takes naps together, and go on walks when we are alone. My house gets close to zero attention and that is ok. I am enjoying every second of mommyhood!

In September the Tarrant County Birth Network hosted BOLD. My poor husband and baby got neglected for a couple of weeks during this time. To be able to spend time with him, I had to wear him. He sure is a good helper. (FYI- this is NOT the correct way to wear your baby, I know a better way now)

Getting a diaphragm adjustment from Rachel so he can stop spitting up so much. I am not a fan of smelling like vomit all day long.

Saturday afternoon football and nap time for my guys.

Sunday afternoon helping Daddy out in the yard. Daddy is digging up a tree that was planted too close to the house and causing foundation issues.

Our visit to Starbucks one afternoon. We took a walk on a beautiful sunny day. And, I guess you can see what his favorite toy is.....Mr. Ducky.

Oh, Hannah! He is so deliciously precious! You and Scott did a fantastic job of making one of the cutest babies in the entire universe! Love him! :)

I know it sometimes gets easier to just post little tid bits on Facebook. Congrats on the new phone! I still don't have that type of internet connection on my phone. It was good to get a blog update on your life! I knew you would enjoy mommy-hood.
